Message from Rev. Brent Miller, Pastor at GraceCrossing Community Church in
Pastors Brent and Megen Miller
of GraceCrossing in Phoenixville (ABCOPAD Partners in Ministry for Adoption and
Orphan Care) are inviting all ABCOPAD churches to take part in the 2012 50
Churches-50 Children Program.
Every November, during National Adoption Month, Bethany Christian Services and
the Mid-Atlantic Orphan Care Coalaition sponsor this program. The goal is to
fine 50 churches willing to pray for 50 orphans during the month. Over the past
few years, many ABCOPAD churches have participated in this simple way of helping
children find families.
Every participating church will receive pictures of four children to pray for during the month of November. Churches can place the pictures in bulletins, on projection screens, or otherwise display them in a manner ro raise awareness of their need for a home. During the month, in worship services, in small groups, or in other settings, churches then pray fof God to help the kids find their forever families. It is a simple program, but through the power of prayer, it has the power to move mountains and find these children families. Last year's program has, so far, resulted in 19 children finding their forever families.
If you are interested in participating, you can sign up at http://www.orphancarecoalition.org Just click on 'Our Campaign' and follow the directions. For more information, you can contact Brent and Megen at email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org
