| 2008 is here....what are you and your AB GIRLS group up too? Here is an idea that the girls can have fun with, that helps AB Women, and supports LOVE GIFT!!!! Have your girls decorate envelopes in the "flavor" of Valentines Day for LOVE GIFT . Decorate the envelopes with stickers, glitter, whatever. Have the girls write LOVE GIFT and some scripture verses. Just have a little fun decorating these envelopes. Then, if you are able, place them in your church's bulletin or pass them out to everyone in church the Sunday around Valentine's Day (February 10th or the 17th). This will introduce the girls to the importance of LOVE GIFT and also help support Church-wide LOVE GIFT . The AB GIRLS from Newark, Delaware sent pictures of their Love Gift Envelopes. They created 150 envelopes and collected over $600 for Love Gift. |
| AB GIRLS 2ND Annual Scholarship |
|
Applications for the AB GIRLS 2ND Annual Scholarship are now available. This year, a $500 scholarship will be awarded to 2 graduating, active AB GIRLs in our Region who are enrolled in college, trade school, etc. More information is listed on the application. These 2 scholarships will be awarded at the AB Women's Conference - this year at Bucknell University, June 27-29, 2008. Click here to download an application. |

AB GIRLS or any girl in your church are invited to join us at conference. "Come to the Edge...TRUST" will be the theme of the weekend. The girls will participate in 3 workshops this year. A fun workshop that may be a "little messy" will be held Friday afternoon. Saturday, the girls can choose a craft to participate in. Then, all the girls will participate and learn about "Clowning" - led by Myra Goss. Swimming, snacks, special activities are also planned. Cost for the Girls will be $100. | Houseparty 2008 |
|
Houseparty 2008 seems so far away, but it is getting closer. "HE Lifts Me Up." Come and be lifted up through the many activities the weekend includes. August 8-10, 2008 at Greenfield Baptist Church, North East, PA. Saturday afternoon activities will include a choice of one of the three activities - Shopping at the MillCreek Mall, Visiting the Erie Zoo, or Swimming at Peak and Peak Resort.
