Rev. Kathryn Eagles - Bible Study Leader
During the years of waiting, Kathy raised three sons, Lorenzo, Andrew, and Douglas. They are now grown and married to wonderful Christian women. Each one serves the Lord both in their chosen professions and in their churches. Four precious grandchildren add to their joy.
Kathy’s desire to pursue her pastoral call never wavered, but because of many personal and professional obstacles, it seemed like an impossible dream! Then, in God’s perfect timing, God miraculously opened the door for her attend Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary (now Palmer Theological Seminary). Upon graduation, Kathy was called by Cross Road Baptist Church (formerly Mackey Memorial Baptist Church) in Bangor, PA. During her tenure at Cross Road, God brought healing to a small, struggling congregation, restored their hope for a future, and gave them a renewed vision for revival and mission. The now-growing church is reaching out in Bangor and making a difference in their community.
After nearly five years of ministry at Cross Roads Baptist Church, Kathy was called to Upper Merion Baptist Church in King of Prussia, PA, and began her ministry at UMBC in October 2009.
