Any items that are needed for Saturday morning workshops.
Check the workshop descriptions to see if anything is needed.
Host family gift – Please have each girl bring a small gift to thank their host family for welcoming the girls into their homes for the weekend.
AB GIRLS Dress Code:
- Friday night and Saturday morning: Casual dress.
- Saturday afternoon: Shorts and t-shirts are recommended for outdoor fun!!
- Saturday evening: dress like you are attending a banquet with the Lord!!! Homecoming dresses, prom dresses - dress like a “princess” of the Lord.
- Sunday Morning Worship: Dress as you would to worship, praise, and honor God in His house. You will have time to change into more comfortable clothes before departing for home.
Weekend Praise and Worship: Bring your voices and excitement as we join together to Praise and Worship together!!!!
Friday Evening Talent Time For God!!! Each group attending is asked to introduce themselves by way of an “act” or “talent Friday evening.” You may include the entire group, a few girls, or just one. It could center on our theme, where you are from, or special talents of your group. It can be funny, serious, musical…be creative…but remember we must reflect Christian values. You will have 8-10 minutes to have a group picture taken, recite the theme scripture and do your “talent” at the beginning of Friday night’s program.
SERVICE PROJECTS – CRAFTS – SCRAPBOOKS - LOVE GIFT CONTAINERS
We will have an area to display all of the above listed items you bring along. Many of our newer groups as well as the “older” established groups love to see what the AB GIRLS from around the Region are doing. It also helps with programming and ideas.
LOVE GIFT: We will be taking a Love Gift offering as well as a special recognition for Love Gift participation at the Sunday morning worship. Please remind the girls to come prepared with their offering. Love Gift envelopes will be sent with your confirmation letter.
2010 Mission Project: Shinglehouse Food Cupboard will be our Mission Project for 2010. We will be collecting and filling up the cupboards with nonperishable canned goods - vegetables and fruits. Let’s see how many cans we can collect and fill the cupboard full.
