Houseparty Information (Page 2) Saturday Morning Workshops: Below are descriptions of the Houseparty 2010 Workshops. Please designate on the registrations forms the girls 1st and 2nd choice for workshops A and B. Some workshops require that items be brought with the girls. Reminders for items to be brought by the girls will be sent in the confirmation letter. Please note on workshops…there may be and age limit and participation limit. |

Bible Study: Saturday morning, there will be Bible Study for all three AB GIRLS groups as well as Adult Leaders and Chaperones based on the theme scripture. Saturday Afternoon Activities: Shinglehouse Assembly Park. This will be an afternoon of outdoor fun in God’s Country. Come prepared for a picnic, scavenger hunt, games and fellowship with one another. Nature trails and more await us on this outdoor adventure. Saturday Night Banquet: Saturday Evening Banquet is a special evening for the girls. We will be celebrating with each other as well as honoring and lifting up God. Dress requested is “dress up!!” Prom dresses, Spring dance dresses, Homecoming dresses, fancy dresses, etc are encouraged, PLEASE…no denim, jeans, cargo pants, etc. Saturday Night Concert: To Be Announced!!!!! Stay tuned for these exciting details!!! Saturday Evening Awards: Recognitions: Each girl attending Houseparty will receive a recognition at the Saturday evening banquet of her participation in AB GIRLS. Please designate on your registration sheet which group each girl is in – Girls of Joy, Girls of Faith, or Young Women of Hope. Young women who have graduated from high school this year will receive a small congratulatory gift. First Timers to Houseparty will also be recognized at that time. Banners: If your church received a banner at Houseparty 2009, please remember to bring it with you this year. We need ALL banners returned so that each group is able to display banners at their church for the year. If you can not locate the banner awarded last year, PLEASE contact me ASAP so that a new banner can be created. |
