Deborah will be serving as President for 2010-2011. We will be taking applications for Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer. Application packets are available by contacting the AB GIRLS Coordinator or Click here to download an application .
If you have girls interested in these positions, I must receive their application no later than July 1, 2010. NO APPLICATIONS WILL BE TAKEN AT HOUSEPARTY. She must be at least 15 years old or a sophomore in high school but not older than 18 and not married. Serving on the Region Cabinet is a rewarding experience that fosters maturity, organizational skills, leadership, and responsibility. Please encourage any of your girls that have potential in these areas to apply. |

CABINET JOB DESCRIPTIONS: |
|
President – The second year of the Vice President term. Responsible for leading the Cabinet meetings, writing for the newsletter and working closely with the Regional Coordinator at implementing ideas. Aids in planning Houseparty.
Vice President – Two-year term, second year as President. Assembles scrapbook for Region. Displays scrapbook at Houseparty. Submits articles for newsletter. Aids in planning Houseparty. Presides over Cabinet meetings in absence of President. Secretary – One year term. Records meeting minutes. Creates an evaluation form for Houseparty, compiles evaluation results, and sends results to Cabinet members. Accumulates articles for newsletter, edits them, and submits them to Regional Coordinator twice a year. Responsible for thank you notes on behalf of the Cabinet. Treasurer – One year term. Keeps an accounting of expenses. Communicates as necessary with the ABW Ministries Treasurer. Suggests usage of money in excess of AB GIRLS needs. Responsible for Love Gift dedication at Houseparty Sunday morning worship service. Any GIRLS that will be submitting their application for office will be required to give a “short speech” about themselves at Houseparty. This allows all the GIRLS to get to know the GIRLS better. Applicants will be provided with the format upon receipt of their Cabinet Application. |
