Houseparty 2010 Workshops |

Martial Arts/Self Defense - Come and learn the basics of self defense and martial arts! For this workshop, girls will need to bring comfy clothes to change into before it starts.
Bead It! - Make an unique piece of jewelry all your own! This class is being taught by a local jewelry maker. Scrap It! - Bring 4 or 5 of your favorite photos and make your very own scrap booking page. Tye Dye It - Bring a white t-shirt and tye dye it! Girls should bring an old paint shirt to slip on while they are doing this workshop. Quilting It - Learn to make a quilt block, while hearing a devotional! Make Up and Skin Care - Come and learn the basics of how to apply make-up, and take good care of your skin. A local Mary Kay representative will be teaching this workshop. Sing It Out - Join the choir directors as they teach you a special song for Sunday morning service. This workshop will be two sessions long. Computers - Learn the basics of making your own webpage, or just get your computer questions answered! Mission Outreach - Let’s go to the Shinglehouse Food Pantry for a Mission Project. Many jobs need some AB GIRLS hands of service - passing out Food on Distribution Day, sorting of food, cleaning and much more. Be part of the fun!!! This workshop is limited to Young Women of Hope and 15 participants. |
