This video tells the story of several women in Africa who are modern day “lepers” because they have an obstetric fistula which causes constant urinary or bowel leakage. There is hope for these women at a few hospitals there that address this difficult issue.
One of the hospitals (not mentioned in the video) is our own Vanga hospital in Congo where Bill and Ann Clemmer have been serving.
Gifts to the Fistula Fund can be sent to International Ministries through your church by designating your gift to “Surgical Care Women Congo.” This is one of the special projects promoted by International Ministries this year with a goal of raising $3000 to help 50 women in Congo.
