| Hard to believe that another semester is almost over. Please keep our student loaners in prayer as they face another round of finals and looking for summer employment during hard economic times. Also keep our former students that are in the process of paying back their loans in prayer as they make many life adjustments. |

If you have any students who are interested in a student loan, please have them contact me or give them a packet to fill out and send in. If they are interested in a loan and this is a first time request they need to send the application in as soon as possible. It takes several months to process the initial application. The application requires a school counselor’s recommendation and once school is out, it can be difficult to obtain. Remember, the student loan is available to anyone who is a member of an American Baptist Church in the state of Pennsylvania (including Philadelphia area) and Delaware and plan to attend an accredited postsecondary school. This is a loan and will have to be paid back. The terms of the loan are in the loan packet. This loan does require an endorser. Donations to the Student Loan Tribute fund may be sent to Anna Lee Earnest. The students are very appreciative of our support and it lets them know that we care about our young adults.
