• Preside at all meetings of the American Baptist Women’s Ministries of Pennsylvania and Delaware, including Board and Executive Committee.
• Coordinate and promote all plans and policies affecting women’s work of the organization in Pennsylvania and Delaware.
• Give guidance to association presidents.
• Plan the programs for each meeting of the Board with the assistance of the Executive Committee.
• Provide for regular communication between the officers and their association counterparts with the appointment of an Editor for the newsletter. This Editor shall be appointed for a two-year renewable term.
• Appoint all committees as deemed necessary by this Organization, its Board or its Executive Committee; and designate a chairwoman unless otherwise provided.
• Be a member ex-officio of all committees except the Nominating Committee.
• Be the recognized representative of the women of Pennsylvania and Delaware to denominational and interdenominational organizations of the area.
• Serve as a member of the National Board of American Baptist Women’s Ministries.

• Record the minutes of all meetings of this Organization, its Board and its Executive Committee.
• Conduct correspondence as directed.
• Handle publicity and public relations as directed.
• Keep a roll of the members of the Board and a record of attendance at all meetings.
• Maintain all historical records, keeping copies of all constitutions and/or bylaws with notations of changes and references to minutes of the meeting in which those changes were proposed and voted upon.
• Maintain a list of region and association officers, and local presidents.
• Distribute a directory to all members of the Board; the Executive Director of American Baptist Women’s Ministries, U.S.A.; the American Baptist Churches of Pennsylvania and Delaware (ABCOPAD) office; area or region liaisons; and the Eastern geographical coordinator of national ABW Ministries.
• Update and maintain mailing lists required by the officers and other interested parties.
• Give guidance to her association counterparts.

• Deposit in the name of this organization, in a bank endorsed by the organization, all funds received for promotional or incidental expenses and for all other purposes.
• Pay all approved bills incurred by the organization and channel specific funds as directed by the Finance Committee.
• Chair the Finance Committee.
• Promote and interpret the various funds of American Baptist Women’s Ministries of Pennsylvania and Delaware.
• Give guidance to her association counterparts.
• Be in close contact with Love Gift Coordinator.
• Serve as an ex-officio member of the Conference Committee, the Student Loan Committee, and the Women’s Day Committee.
• Report annually to American Baptist Churches of Pennsylvania and Delaware as requested.
• Report at the Annual, Board and Executive Committee meetings.
• Appoint a co-signer for the checking account in accordance with the bonding company requirements.

• Give guidance to her association counterparts.

• Receive quotas from the Board of International and National Ministries of the American Baptist Churches, U.S.A.
• Distribute quotas to the appropriate association coordinators.
• Give guidance to her association counterparts.
• Promote projects of Church World Service and the World Relief Committee of the American Baptist Churches, U.S.A.

• Be responsible for planning the AB GIRLS houseparties.
• Develop resources.
• Stimulate the growth of all age groups of AB GIRLS.
• Give guidance to her association counterparts.
• Serve on the Conference Committee.

• Promote and publicize Love Gift.
• Prepare special promotions/celebrations for Conference and Women’s Day.
• Be responsible for table box collections at Conference and Women’s Day
• Offer dedication services when offerings are taken.
• Request the Love Gift reports from ABCOPAD and the Philadelphia Association Treasurer at the end of each year, and at periodic times during the year, to be shared with Association Love Gift Coordinators and/or Treasurers.
